I'm in the upper 800s. I need to decide if I'm getting this or waiting on the A1 version.

Woo Hoo! Johnny E. is only a little over 200 away from me! I'm #946

I'm thinking you should wait for the A1; I'm thinking everyone under 945 should really wait to get the A1 version. :D

Not so fast, Bill. I was just ticking off the next number to be served, like they do on the wall at the deli.

I don't own an M11/9. I have an A1, so I am waiting for Richard to release the A1 version, ideally in co-production with the 11/9 version. If he does them sequentially, I may be too old to shoot when they come out!

I think I’m going to end up with a MAX 11/15 upper for both my M11/9 (already got it) and my M11A1 (I’m on the Lage waiting list) platforms. I’ve got both Macs, and a Max31 for each, so why not? ;)

M11/15 uppers are over 3 times the price of a Max31 and that's a good reason not to own duplicates of it FOR ME. Gotta save for whatever Lage goodies come next, ya know?

IDK about that. I love my Max31A MkII and look forward to adding a 11A/15 to my collection. 9mm and 5.56 = SMG and MG. What's not to love? I have Suomi drums and PMAGS that need to be plugged into something.

Let's see.....600 and some odd Max 11/15s delivered so far at $3k per copy and a few hundred more to go before A1 production starts. That's well, .... a very nice revenue stream for Lage Manufacturing. There are probably some mainline firearms manufacturers who have struggled to reach those numbers in the past 6 months. Good for Lage & company. He deserves it, a true entrepreneur with stellar customer service.

Do we know that Lage sold 600-some units? Lage may be closing in on serving customer number 800, but I don't think anyone outside of Lage knows how many of those 800 passed on the opportunity to purchase. If half took a pass, they sold 400. If only 20 passed, then they sold several hundred more.

I think someone should post their serial number and then we know how many sold.

I’m on the list for the A1/15 but I’m not going to pass on the Max11/15 when my number comes up. I have a Max31k and a Max10/31. They feel vastly different. I’m not saying one is better than the other but they are different. I’m not going to wait 2 years for the a1 version just to wonder how it compared to the M11 version. I’ll get both when my number comes up. I know $3k is a lot of coin but I can eat Ramen noodles and bologna sandwiches for a while.

I’ve got more Lage goodies for the little Mac than I do the M11 so time to show the M11/Nine som love. Make your own decision on what you want to. But if you pass now don’t whine and complain in 10 years when you want one and they are out of production. At that point they could be $5k on the secondary market.

Here is the status of the MAX-11A1/15 and MAX-10/15. Uppers for submission to BATF Tech Branch should be finished in a month or so. The upper shells will be finished in a couple of weeks. The IRM Bolt Carrier is custom and may take a little longer to get machined.

The waiting list for the MAX-11A1/15 has been open for a while. When the first working prototype of the MAX-11/15 is produced, we will open the list. We will post video of both here.

Yes, we are running late, but it will get done.
