So - side question. All the photos I show have the upper with the retaining pin sitting flush ( I think ), what are you guys using? Mine has a solid half inch of extra pin.

Lol, It was getting bad. Like when you think you feel your phone vibrating, I was hearing ghost UPS trucks pull up! Go run over to the window and nothing.

Received my upper yesterday as well (S/N 142) and had the same patience with UPS. If you sign up for an account with UPS you can actually watch the truck with your upper drive around the city. I felt like a kid on Christmas day when the truck made a stop on the street behind my house; so close. Then got crushed as I watched it drive right past my house and keep going. Was another hour before he came back with my upper.

I spent my day stripping and detail cleaning my lower for the first time in a long while.

I had to sign for mine - but there was a really bad snow storm that day, so UPS cancelled the delivery. I called the hub, and went and hung out in their parking lot. The truck that had my box got back at 8pm. Worth the wait.

I hope your uppers are arriving in better shape than mine did. It looked like the UPS man dropped it off a 3 story building. I even had a few nicks in the upper. I was not happy!
