NC subgun match/shoot!!

Finally!!-the first (and hopefully not last) Hurricane/Himmacane shoot!!-Anthill gun club and Range, Hwy 211 outside Southport, NC. On the coast, 1 hour from Wilmington, NC and 1 hour from Myrtle Beach, SC. To be held on Sat. Oct. 27. The last week-end in October. The course of fire will range from up close and personal to greater than 100yds. Will also have shotgun walk through the woods. Entry fee is $25.00, covers food and drink (Burgers, dogs, etc, soft drinks and water. Shooting steel, paper, clays. No tracers or explosives. Have several bays set aside for casual shooting, comparisons, etc. Come over and make a day/week-end of it. Family can enjoy Southport, Ferry ride to Fort Fisher, NC aquarium, Battleship NC, free beaches, etc. Several hotel/motels nearby. Will be working w/local LEO to help you obtain 5320's if out of state.__Beemer__:marines The website for the range is www.anthillrange.com, the shoot will be posted on the website soon. I have contacted the sherrif's dept-no problem, BATF has no problem with 5320.20's, will be posting more details soon. For the 5320.20's: Location is Ant Hill Range, Hwy 211, Southport, NC Brunswick County, 28461.

Does NC have any additional regs about bringing MG's in? Or is an approved 5320 adequate? Is that the complete 5320 address for the range?

I haven't had to Deal with NC(because I live here) but it shouldn't be a problem. It's a Confederate-I mean Southern State. Blackwater is northern part of the state, i'm sure they train guys with MG from out of state. just my $.02

And we also have a range bay of 100/150yds where rifle/beltfed could be shot outside of the match. Can do rifle during the match on paper plates, silhouettes, etc. looking at three/four courses of fire in the match itself, up to 400/500 rds of ammo maybe for the match-Beemer

Hey George, how many more or less confirmed to attend (including me)? I'm going to mail in my 20's anyway, but does the range have a minimum for us to have our shoot?

No minimum number John-Ranger 55 is coming(he was my partner at Dallas, Soren FAL is coming, some of my local buddies-am going to post on Subguns and Sturm this week-end, I believe Patrick and his friends from SC may come-would like to have about 50 people, with 4 squads shooting we will move pretty fast and have time for other shoots, comparisons, etc. Hope to make this a regular thing. I'm probably going to start stockpiling ww 9mm for those that want it-don't know how much I can afford over the next 4 months but I'd like to have it available for you guys at cost if you need some-I can always shoot it up! Looking forward to seeing you-if you need lodging let me know and I'll get you info on the local places. As I live an hour away in wilmington I'll probably get a room near the range to be with everyone. We will be able to shoot Sat. and Sunday for the one fee.-George
