I am glad to see more matches around the southeast!

Can anyone gimme the 5320.20 info?

Address where the shoot will be held, etc?

Wilmington International airport (ILM) has primary service with delta/delta commuter and US Air and their commuter service. Most flights will got to raleigh, nc or Charlotte, NC before they arrive here. I use the term international airport with a grain of salt-high aspirations here.-Beemer

As I understand it, a letter from Canada once was accidentally dropped by a passenger in the terminal of that airport - hence the "international" tag.

I am looking into a source of ammo for the match to help anybody coming. Looking at pricing on 9mm 115gr and 147gr. Please let me know how much you want-the match for those shooting it will probably consume 400/500 rds, then you need to think about other shooting. There will also be an optional "stumble through the jungle" using shotgun at clays in the woods. Bring your saigas, tromix, sbs, etc-will need #7#8 shot approx 50 rds.-Beemer

Panacea-come on up and bring your mac11/180-maybe to deliver mine and anyone else at the match!!

I don't need any ammo.

Although if my Coastal rebuild is back before then I plan to try some more subsonics thru it. hopefully these won't trash the can this time!

edited to add:
50 round shotgun stage?!?!? Lessee for the Saiga I have 1 10rnd and 6 5rnd mags, that's only 40 rnds. I'd be better off bringing a tube gun and a big-ass bag o' shells, no? Or am I missing an important detail?

shotgun stage will have 32-35 clays and then a popper/released clay at the end. Figure shells come in 25d boxes and you may miss one or two or three..bring the tromix if you have it-Beemer

BeachinBeemer,

I'd like about 1K-1.5K of 9mm in 115gr.

Talked to wallyworld today on getting ammo-the guys eyes rolled when I said I wanted upward of 20k rounds-he said he couldn't get it all at once-would pobably have to get in several shipments. I understand that winchester and others are raising prices 15% in Aug/Sept. I should know this week if ww115 gr will be available in large quantities-so far wallyworld has the best price at their reg retail compared to quotes I'm getting from local gunshops. If people want ammo-let me know asap the quantity, I'll get the price back to ya-it needs to be paid for upfront for me to get and hold for you. I figure shooters will want at least 1000+ rounds for the match and upper shooting.:biker -Beemer

Closest airports are?

Beachin,

Am I correct in noticing that Myrtle beach and Wilmington are about equal distances from the shoot? Either airport is only about an hour drive?

Thanks,

Jake

Thanx. Love to test drive it.

I've shot one before, but wouldn't mind more trigger time.

And you can shoot my Lage. Love this gun!

Garandman-you can try my ac556 also-with a can--let's get John's and mine side by side and see how good the can does-people always say that the 556 doesn't suppress well-Beemer

Beemer; On the Wally World ammo buy... Been there, done that. I attempted to buy 20K from WalMart and offered to pre-pay to get it done. This for the first annual Uzi Talk event here in Las Vegas. My regular guy in the Sporting Goods department, Harold, took my plight all the way to the Super Store director. He wasn't interested in the least. Harold tried several other stores for me and couldn't make it happen. I approached other valley gun stores with my needs and offer of pre-payment and the costs I got was borderline ridiculous. Same with our Bass Pro Shop. In the end, SoFLTodd handled the group ammo buy and ordered the ammo off the 'net, but I was very disappointed I couldn't take care of our ammo needs at a reasonable price on a local level.

I have it on two VERY reliable sources that Federal is raising their ammo prices 23% across the board on September 1st. I expect others to follow suit even if their cost to manufacturer and their government commitments aren't affected. Why shouldn't they? I purchased 5 cases of Federal 124 grain last week to bring my total 9mm count to well over 13,000 rounds and I need to get going on my .223 while I have time. Don't wait too long.

I haven't heard that suppression buzz on the AC556. I would have thought it would be a touch quieter than a '16... Interesting.

Sounds like you guys are going to have a fun weekend!
