O.K.-got a hotel set up-20 rooms reserved-they will be released back to the public on Sept. 26. Rate is $60.00+tax(about $7.50)-continental breakfast, etc, wireless internet, parking in front of your room-trying for all first floor rooms, your choice of singl, double, smoking, non-smoking. Have discount coupons for eating at sticky fingers(ribs, etc.),Hooters across the street, waffle house nearby, close to the airport and I-40. Call or e-mail me and I will give you the codeword to get the rate and room. Also have arranged for enterprise car rentals to provide a special rate for rental cars.

It is still about a 40 minute drive to the range from the hotel-any interest in a group dinner Sat. nite?-lots of things for family to do in Wilmington and Southport and the beaches if you bring family, sig. others. If people want to share a room-let me know and I'll try to connect ya'll, goes for car rentals also.

Can you give us any additional info regarding the COF ex # of Strings to be run, amount of ammo needed per string and overall .

Also how many classes of subguns will you have ?

TB-4 courses of fire, approximately 500rds of ammo. the match is subgun-9mm,45acp,.22lr. Open and stock weapons, The open shooting will run at the same time on 4 other ranges-rifle, beltfed, silencers(in the match also), shotgun in the jungle(50rds)-not part of the match-sbs, aow's, etc. Local leo is notified, excited about it and may have their srt guys shoot with us. Gonna be a fun, full week-end. I need headcounts for food, etc. on Sat and to get a feel for the toal # coming.-Hope to make this a regular thing. Bring tables/carts for your gear if driving, targets you may want to shoot on the open ranges(tennis/whiffle balls, paper, jugs, maybe we'll do the Lee Ermey thing a blow up a few viscious melons!!-just need to clean up behind us.-Thinking about a post match dinner in Wilmington after the Sat. match if folks want. Remember the range will also be open for us on Sunday for casual shooting, comparisons, etc.-Beemer:biker

FWIW, The local chatter is WalMart will be raising their prices on 9mm WWB ammo September 1st. A hike of 12% seems to be the magic number. Just a heads up.

Guys-plans are moving ahead for the shoot-With 4 stages of fire in the match I am going to limit shooters to a max of 100-we will have 8squads if that many register and will shoot 4 squads in the morning half and the other 4 in the afternoon. If there is enough demand we can shoot the match stages again on sunday for those who desire-just help me set up. Shooters on the open lanes need to supply targets, i.e foam filled water jugs, man-eating melons and pumpkins(we have to clean up behind us!!) and what ever your brains think up(no glass, all trash has to be removed every afternoon) I need to have final head count before I go to the Crek in Oct.

E-mail me with your confirmations and numbers you are bringing. I can get more rooms if the block closes out-however if the rooms are not taken by Sept. 26th-they will be released to the general public-so I'd advise you make the reservations asap.

Well if the FA guys have to stay in happy-switch mode then yeah, the SBRs would have to be in a sep class.

Got a couple thousand rounds of subsonic 147 gr. 9mm(hopefully 6000rds-loaded to 950fps-Do not know the price but it will be reasonable-I know the heads have gone up to $155.00/2000rds.-Beemer
