Hey, I'm new so I don't know a whole lot about these, but I'm looking to buy one and want some advise. There is a Century arms uc-9 at the local gun store for $850ish but I've heard that it's either a hit or miss with them. Should I risk it? If something happens can I use regular uzi parts instead of theirs? I'd like to get a IMI but I cant find one in my price range (They are $1600+). Could I build one up? And if so, where do I get parts? Thanks in advance

When you ask about "building one up" how much building do you want to do? Cause you can buy a bare shell from DandD, along with a "weldup" kit, and build a complete shell with welded attachments for less than $175. Then buy a parts kit from RTG for $169, use the lower and top cover, sights, front barrel nut, and stock, then sell everything else in the kit on GB, buy a barrel from sarco or DandD for $125 or less, and semiauto bolt and other semi auto parts for $225 or so, and you'v got a complete semi uzi. I might have left a few parts unmentioned, but everythin you'll need you can get for $750 or less. The receiver from DandD is real nice, very well made.
