New here, looking for a barrel

This is actually my first post. I've been slowly making my way through the South African R Series thread (very interesting thread with lots of information). I have a Galil ARM that was built on a Tortort receiver with a Galil ARM parts kit. A good friend of mine in South Africa sent me R4 wood handguards with carry handle, so it's kind of a mutt. But it's my mutt. I'm talking with Jeff Miller about a complete rework because the original build was pretty much a hack job.

if your rifle is headspaced correctly, but the barrel is just not as tight as you would like it.... you can shim the barrel. If the headspace is off...keep an eye on gunbroker for a new barrel. Most sources for barrels are out of stock at this time.
