The one time I accidentally fired my M11/9 without the buffer installed the ROF was noticeably faster. I dunno. Go figure.

Here's a PS ghost upper on an m11/9 with a 380 barrel shooting .380 acp. I'm putting lots of shots on steel at a bit more than 25 yards rather easily.

it was sarcasm. In the garandthumb video he claims that the gun fires 1400 rpm instead of 1200 because it “has a buffer installed”. All m11 bolts have a buffer, it is not a special feature or a ROF increaser. They come like that from the factory.

The other guy you are talking about is Administrative Results. He wore that balaclava for a long time to protect his identity. he was a police officer, he quit his job because they were requiring him to get vaxed. He stopped wearing the balaclava a few months back. I personally prefer garand thumbs mac-11 video.. admin’s mac was so heavily modernized that it barely even resembled a MAC (it was someone’s post sample 11/9), but that’s just my personal taste.

This is why the only guntuber I watch is Kentucky ballistics. He just likes to shoot large bore firearms and machine guns at stuff that’s messy and 5000 dollar ballistic gel dummies. No LARPing crap, no tier 1 high speed low drag nonsense, Just shooting. Admin results is a wanna be garand thumb, he speaks the exact same way, uses that same exact arrogant cocky gesturing that garand thumb does while holding the little microphone in his hand, just an absolute rip off, you can tell that he practiced his best garandthumb it in the mirror for a long time before making a video. Scott (Kentucky ballistics) is a good dude from what I can tell, active duty law enforcement, no corny fake SOF action shooting, just a guy having fun with guns.

The gun in admin results’ “MAC-11” video barely even resembled a MAC.. it was a post sample converted semi auto frame, and that frame was probably the only OEM part present on the gun. the M11/9 receiver might as well just be considered a trigger pack at this point with most of the setups that are being run nowadays. Not really a “MAC” anymore when it more closely resembles a modern HK PDW with a 700 RPM rate of fire.

That is a somewhat rare SWD M11A1 in garand thumbs video, it is an early production model that has a leftover RPB cast M11 bolt that was modified by SWD to work with the zytel mags. Most of those SWD 380 guns have the later CNC bolt. I’ve been running it on Tula for years since that’s all that ran but I don’t have anymore.

I thought of that also, but he’s holding an M11 380, and the MACJACK is for the 11/9 only, nothing like that has ever existed for the 380 small frame guns or the fat MACs, those MACJACKs and “speed cubes” only work in the 11/9 with the longer receivers.

I put a Lage ROF increasing buffer in it.
Idk if it was made for the A1 or not but it fits

Do you have a SOT2? Or is your stuff personal? IE form 4 or something? Kinda scary letting anyone run freely on the mag / belt dumps either way. M60 parts or a cooked barrel is not cheap to replace.

I am sure anyone would be thrilled to run a couple thousand rounds through your M60.

I like the Way that gun looks in that video, im not really crazy about the gold but it’s a cool gun with that old bolt in it. You don’t see that very often with those SWD 380s, almost all of them, have the CNC bolt. I think they were just using up the leftovers from RPB with the bolts and then when they ran dry they switched to CNC production.

I didn’t know there was a LAGE rate increasing buffer, but I wasn’t really thinking when I said that about the buffer, all you have to do is put a couple of buffers stacked on top of each other in there and you’ve got a poor man’s MACJACK rate increasing buffer.

Nice to see the old M11 being showcased by a big time YouTuber. Good choice.

They’re my personal guns, both are trannys and I also have an m16 I painted then engraved “do you have your class 3 license for that” into the magwell as a joke.
Mike only used like 800 rounds for the filming and it was mostly in 50rd belts with a blank at the end to help prevent bolt damage.
I regularly do 200rd belt dumps with it ag MG shoots or whenever I’m in the mood to piss money away lol.

Ya he just kinda threw it together quick. There’s was an entire intro filmed and other stuff but I guess YT didn’t like it as well as Tranny jokes. Told him what he could say to be more accurate but missing small technical details drives interaction and views so we said fuck it hahah.

I bought the gun from a guy in Texas mid 2011 for 2500 and it never really worked, trigger fell apart and I forgot I had it for a few years. Got a Lage trigger but it’s aluminum on steel and wore out fast so I welded more on it and it mostly works now.
I have Lage uppers as well but didn’t bring them with me. May go back again for a Mac redemption vid

I love rattle canned painted weapons! Know its a shooter if you cover it with krylon camo with laundry bag or foilage overlay. If I painted it, its treated like a cheap 1000 Baut hooker for sure!
