Brown just dropped off a package at my house!

Thank you Richard, Mak90, Jackie, and whoever else made this happen. I will try it out this weekend at our hunting lease.

I have the IRM version. I put it on the lower with Sam's uzi folding stock that came with the grey ghost.

The stock clears the upper but blocks the mag release on the right side. No problem as there is one on the left.

Well I got to try it out this weekend but the camera flopped for some reason, so no video.

Using brass M193 ammo. Not sure what make it was but already loaded in the mags.

I started at 5 clicks on the gas block with a suppressor and had failure to feed after the first shot.

I went to 7 clicks and it ran about 4 rounds and the same failure.

At ten clicks function was perfect. Ran three mags suppressed and it did not seem to be a fast rate of fire.

I was using an SDN-6.

I'll try to get video next time. All I can say it was smoother than my M-16 and more controllable. Thank you Richard and all involved in making this happen. The Mac now has some big boy pants to wear.

Looks great. I saw someone else said they were running at 9 clicks so around that range seems to be the sweet spot. Now let's hope that as we get into the later numbers more people will pass. #305 here!

Random question: is the upper full auto only? Or does switching it to semi allow it to fire in semi? My closest range is indoor and doesn't allow full auto so I'd like to at least be able to sight it in at my indoor range.

Great! Thanks. Also zeroing in a full auto only gun might have been challenging. Only reason I asked is because I know the 22 kit Lage makes is full auto only.

Or you can put one round in the chamber or magazine.

It's like "the yardstick of doom."

That is quite badass. I bet with the suppressor , it's badass².

It is my understanding that during SAR West the Max-11/15 was displayed with an AR stock. The first thing someone would do when they picked it up was to fully extend the stock, put it to their shoulder, realize that it was way too long and fully collapse it back to the way it was.

If the folding stock is too long, try it without the folding mechanism. As I recall, a 16" AR is about as long as the Max-11/15 with a 10.5" barrel. Congratulations on receiving your Max-11/15 upper.

13” length of pull is the standard. That ranges of course, usually from 12.5” to 13.5”.

If you look at an AR with a collapsible stock, the distance between the stock attachment point to the trigger is much less than w max-11/15.

Measure from The trigger to the butt end of the stock.

Yeah, LOP with the Max-11/15 is a major concern of mine, because I’m a short dude with short arms. Going to experiment with some different stock systems to see what works best.

The ar stock collapsed is probably fine.

Personally I’d get the IRM and put on a side folder. Lage has different lengths.
