Hello all Galil enthusiasts. I am a new member here and a new owner of a galil kit rifle. I have been a long time AK enthusiast to the tone of owning twelve of them. The Galil is a natural acquisition for the AK enthusiast.
OK so I just bought an ORF receiver Galil with a mid 400's serial number. I have 5 milspec new old stock mags, all are super tight and I've gotten 4 out of the 5 to fit fine. Are there any other issues I should be aware of with this ORF Galil? Haven't been to the range yet, just picked up from my FFL yesterday.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Orlite mags? New ones are tight even in an IMI Galil.

GAL or GLN serial#? The GLN is supposedly much better and properly heat treated.

Only issue I have with my Golani is trigger slap. Century put a real crap trigger in it.

ORF Receiver

This is where I'm tempted to offer you $200 trade in on your ORF for one of ours, which are properly heat treated and multi-caliber....just say'n.
