Great Forum !!!! I'm glad to have become a member.

I am looking to add to my MAC collection and I need some help. I found a M10/9mm which is Military Armament Corp gun. My question is I thought all early MAC's were Powder Springs guns. Here are the markings on this particular gun.

MAC M10, 9mm PAR
Military Armament Corp
Marietta, GA., USA

What are your assesments of this gun...if not a Powder Springs, what is it? I know this is the model that the magazines are hard to come by....so if any members have suggestions on where to purchase some...that would be great also. Thanks for the help.

Welcome!!! :)
Thinking along the same lines as Energizer- M10 pre-PS.
Another more knowledgeable will answer your query.

Its a standard 9mm MAC-10 doublefeed gun. Made in Marriettta, not powdersprings. No difference at all!

Marietta was the RPB made MAC-10s.
Unfortunately, RPB had a lot of hit or miss MAC-10s.
I would go for a PS MAC-10/9.
If you find a local sale, and it is an RPB, just make sure to test fire it first.
Nothing wrong with RPB, it is just that they did not put as much care into their builds as Powder Springs did. Some do run 100% and some do not.
