Just purchased an Irving, CA MK760 that will arrive with only 1 magazine. My question is where is the best source for magazines that will work in this gun? And yes i just ordered a .22 kit from subgunstore :)
thanks in advance

Probably the best time in the last 25 years to own the platform. You’ll love SubGun.store 22 kit. Get his optics mount too.

NavGunner has basically all the parts you’ll ever need. Buy them before they’re gone (who knows if they’ll be made again). Also, look into his integral can.

Get barrels from KAK. They’ve got a threaded K barrel and a threaded full size barrel.

As for mags, get the Suomi’s. You might not even need to file them. Try them first and go slowly with the file.

I've converted several of my Suomi mags, even parkerizeed them and enjoyed the process. However I ended up with way more than I need so I'm selling the rest.

You might want to make sure those 5 mags work for you before buying a quantity. I have a Fruithurst 76 and for some reason it does not like the Suomi mags as well as Factory mags. They fit my gun without modification and I am befuddled as to why they do not work as well? My best functioning mag is an Scott Andrey mag I bought long ago.

Yeah, all the mags I parked I modified first of course, and test them on my gun. The ones I have for sale are not modified in any way, I leave that to the buyer. It varies quite a lot, some Suomi mags work fine with no modifications, others take a little, and some quite a bit of filing.

The website (NAVGUNNER’s 760 Mag) I just listed my last factory MK760 magazine for sale. It’s pricey at $150.

Who shooting, @Billinbama ’s Suomi mags are what you need. He’s a wonderful guy too.
Well, thanks, Austin (blushing), my wife thinks so too (most of the time). I do try to be fair with everyone, but if they are out there for less have at it, I'm all about getting a good deal. My only problem with Centerfire is they charge tax on everything, and I'm a dealer registered in my State with a tax ID but they won't recognize it.

The Dude – You may have already done this, but Scott Andrey has a Magazine Problems page describing how to troubleshoot a 76/760 magazine. He also includes hyperlinks to photos illustrating each part or step that he discusses.

I found that if you take your time and go through each step of his process, it is not too hard to get a magazine to function properly (provided no one already removed too much critical material on the magazine in question).

Thanks Jim, Yes I have seen his troubleshoot page regarding magazines. It has been years though and I forgot it was there. Thanks for reminding me and I need to take another look at it and work on some of my mags that are problematic.
