got mine in the mail on Friday.

There is a page or two discussion on the AR18/180

There is a discussion of the loss of production records for post 1983, which is probably not good news for those with S prefix guns.

I glanced through the book to see if I could answer some of the questions. Not sure when I will have time to actually read it.

Thanks, The GoD book also mentions the lost records. I ordered my copy of the new book through Amazon, I haven't heard anything about a delivery date.

I ordered direct from Pen and Sword. Pre-Ordered July 11 with the expectation publishing was ~ late September. Received a Royal Mail posted letter a week or two back saying it was in back ordered, not in print or something like that. Then the package arrived today. Did not receive an e-mail about shipping - unless it went to spam. Totally happy with the transaction and would buy from them again. I am on the east side of the country, and likely close to where the mail arrives from the UK. If you are in the queue and further west, I expect you will see your books quite soon...

Thanks @Lima.

I also pre-ordered mine on July 11th

Books arrived today. Very nice. I have not had an opportunity to sit down with a copy yet, but based on a thumb-through of the book I am very impressed with the quality of the paper (very heavy), printing, binding, and dustjacket.

I was reading a review on Barnes & Noble and it sounds like this book is a photo copy in many ways of the Collector Grade Publication. In particular it mentions that it looks like there are Optical Character Reading OCR issues where the OCR failed to decipher the original text.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the case. There are some crazy 'typo's'.

There is some fresh information on events since GoD was published, so its still worth getting the book, if you are interested in the Sterling company. However, even these newer sections could have been beefed-up a bit more in my opinion.
