Dah....dah ta dah...dah...dah...dah

You need to shoot it in semi auto and use a
M16 sound track

You’d need a semi mini14 instead too

It’s a crappy shooter but still neat

mackjack, that show was kinda after my time. now that i'm really old and not moving around
as much i've been meaning to check it out. been told i can watch it on something called
utoob.
battering, are you telling me that a gun with a really short barrel and a make
believe shoulder stock is not a tack driver? i'm shocked, shocked i tell you. lol
like my toy cars and other nfa stuff, all this gun has to do is put a smile on my face
at the range. and that it does.
and speaking of impractical.

Only with the stainless one, this one appears to be blued. Also weren't most (all?) of the ones in the show long barrel versions? Great, now I'll have to watch through all my dvds again...

The A Team used plain old semi auto SS Mini 14s with the factory folder after the first season, not the select fire variant. They appear to have had the standard "pin on" flash suppressor available at every gun show in the 80s added on, but were otherwise stock rifles like you would find in any gun store. From what I understand the production company owned them and semi auto was a lot less paperwork, with no worries about transport if a location shoot took them across state lines. Most shows rent their full auto guns from a specialty prop house that has all the licenses needed and takes care of the required paperwork, so all the production company has to do is write them a check.

First season they used standard Vietnam era M16s. Boring!

I would love to have a shorty stainless AC556F, those little guys are just so cute!

Can get expensive too. I ended up getting a scar stock and 22 conversion.

The scar stock with a foregrip on the short barreled variant makes these very nice to shoot. Very controllable! With a red dot on the rail, it makes it easy to get on target. These guns get a bad rap on accuracy. The 13” barrels are plenty accurate for your average machine gun session at 25 yards and in. Also, contrary to a few other threads on here presently, these guns are VERY reliable in my experience...

In factory form I think it’s the least controllable .223 FA

Burst at 15 yards is as good as your gonna get

4th shot is over the target if not the 3rd

Mine runs 100%

I remember seeing the snowman you attempted to do a mag dump on. Man that made me laugh. I personally don’t think the are that hard to handle. A forum member sent me a video of him doing a mag dump with that sage or scar stock and it seemed like it was night and day. Regardless, nothing will match the look of the ac556k with a factory folder IMO.

I did some testing with two factory folding mini 14’s, one (stainless) with two Wilson 1911 shock buffers and one (blued) without any buffers. I personally COULD tell a difference. I let my brother shoot both of them without telling him witch one had the buffers. I asked if he could tell a difference and he said the stainless one was definitely softer.

I’ve got two full auto rugers and I’ve NEVER had a malfunction with factory mags.
