Just thought I'd drop in and say hi to all the UZI owners here..Here's a shot of my new baby, a birthday present to myself..Had it at the range, and it shoots great..I look forward to communicating with everyone, and learning more about my favorite pistol..I also own a HK .45 USP Compact.

Greetings everyone...

Had mine since 1980's, purchased new for $450. It's a great shooter, easy to clean and just has that "serious" look. A great firearm.

Thanks for all the kind words...As a gun enthusiast and collector, I'll probably be looking around for a Mini or maybe a carbine soon in the future..

Congrats on the getting one of the coolest pistols ever made. I just bought one for $600! Of course its a parts kit but everything is there and just needs to be put back together. Hope to have it shooting soon.

nice looking Uzi. I love mine. Had it for about 10 years or so and its a fun little toy and mine shoots great as well. These are getting harder and harder to find these days and the prices are going upwards as well.

congrats on your new Bday present and hang on to it and shoot it with pride and have fun.

I purchased mine new in 1989. I have several 9mm pistols, but none matches the UZI for sheer grit and ruggedness.
I acquired a Group Industries SMG last year, but I still enjoy my UZI Pistol as much as I ever have. Congratulations on your purchase!

If its just for the collection, that should do just fine. I decided I wanted to shoot mine and enjoy it more often, so I SBR'd it. Its much more fun now, well worth the price of admission.

I really enjoy it at the range..I get the age old "Is that an Uzi" question a lot.. It reminds me of the scene from Air America..I plan a future purchase or build of a mini carbine semi SBR. Of course I want the folding metal stock and short barrel..The hassle and 200 bucks will certainly be worth it...I hope someone will start making mini receivers soon..But if I have to, I'll do the splice and weld method ..I enjoy this forum..Plenty of info available here..
