Well they admitted it on video that S&W was told that they needed a firearm to replace the Swedish K. Too many out there claim that S&W had no idea they were making a firearm to replace the Swedish K, but amazingly it looked just like it. I actually read that they knew what they were making that while I was doing some research before I bought my S&W 76 "Tool room" gun almost five years ago.

Yeah, I think that's just S&W talking there. They are shills for the company so what else can they say? M76 is a great gun, I love mine, but the K is the king, no doubt.
