Noob ejector question - Model B

So I did a full strip, deep clean and re-assembly of a Model B (my first rifle, loving it) and noticed that there is a tiny wiggle with the ejector - you can with a little force wiggle it. I tried banging on the rivet as recommended but that has not fully addressed it. I see a thin line clear on the side (looking top down) ejector base where it slides into the frame. This is all the wiggle there is. The firing block moves back and forth freely over the ejector.

My question - is it worth at all trying to fix this thing? I am guessing not but wanted some informed opinions. I own 1911's in various calibers and most of the function fine even without an ejector or a broken ejector based on 1911 forum and my experience with 38 super.

Thanks... Yep, considering a drop of 2 part, high temp epoxy to avoid potential wear...

Depending on where you are, I have fella that could hit it a couple time with laser and be done with it..

I have taken mine and hit the rivet,, you need to support the head of rivet with drift, and smack/set the straight end of rivet with punch to expand it.. it is a 3 hand operation to do really.

My IMI has had an ejector wiggle ever since I got it. Years later, it still works fine.
