I understand that the original imported semiauto Uzis by Action Arms were all either Model A or Model B. Mine is marked Model A. Does it follow that the As had the earlier fire control parts and the Bs had the later parts? If I'm correct, it doesn't matter as long as all the parts are the same "generation". The later parts seem thin on the ground, and I like to have spare parts for all my weapons. So I'd like a trigger assy, (I have both spring types) and a matching semi sear, and spring. I just need to verify that my Model A will function with whatever set I can rustle up.

IIRC, the main difference between A and B are the sights and the addition of the little safety that is released when it hits the ejector when the bolt is in battery. Trigger generation wasn't part of the change AFAIK, but my copy of the Uzi book mentioned above is not handy at the moment. In any event, yes 1 or 2 gen assembly is interchangeable if parts are from same Gen.

RoverDave is correct. The Model A and Model B Uzi's use the same trigger components.
If we can help you with any parts that you require, please send us an email a directblowback@gmail.com and we will be able to assist you.
