Anyone ever seen an Uzi with the markings…. UZI SEMI-AUTO MODEL 45 .45 ACP IMI ISRAEL. There is a serial number is on the side of the top cover and on the side of the trigger group. The selector makings are in Hebrew. I thought all Uzi's made by IMI had the markings MODEL A or B. Could this be an assembled parts gun??

Actually found pics on this site of .45 IMI UZI. Did IMI produce the lower with Hebrew markings though?

Mark, the Model 45 was produced by IMI and it was just a .45 ACP version of the Model B. The gun you describe sounds like one of the vector Arms made guns that started with an IMI Model 45 receiver and then vector assembled then with a variety of surplus and after market parts, including the surplus SMG grip frames with Hebrew markings.

Thanks RoverDave for the info. Does any of that make it more rare?? Next step will be to find a .45 semi auto bolt and barrel. Any recommendations?

D&D has the bolts, striker, and bushing, but as for finding a 16" barrel-good luck.

I have one of these receivers. They came in as just that "receivers". I bought several of them when I had an FFL and built one for myself. If you go to D&D's web site they have a lot of info on them. It seems that there is some problem with their being legal, as they were brought in during the ban.
