Yes both cases were designed here in the US by AA. I really dig the Mini case, too bad I don't own a mini but really thinking on that FS case for my GI if the bids don't go too crazy that is.

Too bad I saw this too late.
I'd a paid twice what the Mini case sold for.
Too bad for the seller too. LOL
I used to follow GB more often, but there are way too many Uzi pages to look through.
If I had the TIME to look, I wouldn't have the MONEY to buy. LOL

You will have another crack at it. I'll be putting my Mini case up on Gunbroker within the next few days. Hate to sell it as rare as it is, but need to shift funds to other toys.

Just saw this post.
Unfortunately there is a conflict between UT and my ISP (AT&T). I have never been able to subscribe to threads.
I'll try and keep an eye out.
Seems to me after looking at the pics, it would be hard to prove provenance.
I'll bet Concorde could take a thrift store Samsonite and no one would know the difference?
Just a thought...? :)

Reluctantly have to agree with this. I think you could make one similar to just enjoy and mess around with.

I asked Concorde if he could make me one last year.
He said I need to find a briefcase it will fit into and then he needs an Uzi to do the fitting and trigger mechanism.
I never looked around for a case that it would fit into properly.

I was trying to avoid that, didn't quite work out.

I sold that case earlier this year to an SOT in KY who had both MAC cases and wanted to complete his collection. The two strings of fire in the vids were the only time I fired it while I had it. It was fun for a few seconds :)

I would love to see someone make a modern version of the case, I'd buy one. I'd rather it have a trigger similar to the MP5 case though. The firing lever on the Cobray case isn't the greatest.

Very nice. Looks like the case FBI Special Agent Matheson uses in the Movie Cliffhanger used. I'll have to watch it again. Nothing like a Mini Uzi taking out a jet.......

Your listed case looks like it's missing some of the key components of the original case. Does not look like it has the magnets like the original or the "V" for direction. Is your case being sold as a original or a replica of the original? Any history on this case would be helpful.

Yes it appears to be missing the magnet, it also appears to be open cell standard grey foam like the type found in most of the modern pick-and-pluck cases made by pelican and the like, not the closed cell moisture proof type from the real deal.
There are also some things that appear wrong with the cutout. For one it appears too perfect and almost laser cut, the rear sight ears do not have a horizontal area behind them before the ear starts, the area for the stock buttplate is too thin, barrel cutout is too long, the foam doesn't extend all the way to the edges of the inside of the case and there is also a curved area on the front side of where the mag meets the grip that is not present on the originals.

Not trying to slam you jcook119, but I have looked at enough of these cases over the past 10 years to know what stands out as different. If this is the way you received it, then I think someone screwed you :-/

Well, it appears that I have been screwed. I bought the case about a year ago, for what I thought was a very good price. I guess now I know why. The case itself appears to be identical except for the "V" marking on the latch. As for the foam, the few pics I had seen of one prior to the purchase were not clear enough to make out the difference. So either this one has replacement foam and no "V", or it was simply a repro from the start. I'm not one to try and pass along my mistakes, so I am going to cancel the auction. I believe that the bidder is a member here, I have sent him a PM to verify. Live and learn I suppose.

On the bright side, I guess I have no reason not to make it my go-forward range case.
