With non-existent parts and $100 magazines,a 308 receiver would at best be a limited run of a handful of units.Even then,I don't see how they could be profitable for the manufacturer.

I can assure you that the 200.00-290.00 ORF price will not be there; especially when you factor in reality of only making so many and other factors.
But if they are that much better like everyone says; then they are worth it.

Ugh! said:CNC warrior's most expensive AK receiver is their threaded, milled AK receiver at $360. Since a galil receiver is similar to a threaded, milled AK receiver I'd say it would be some where close to there.
Only time will tell though.
