Personnally, I would love to have a .308 Galil receiver versus a .223 but if we started a group buy or made formal inquiries to CNC Warrior maybe they will make a .308 Galil receiver in addition to a .223 version.
Here is their web site:

Note: I can not run a group buy as I am currently working in the 'sandbox"
If you would like a .223 or .308 Galil receiver, please post a reply so we can get an estimate to give to CNC Warrior.
Thanks

Until CNC Warrior chimes in with what they're looking for in terms of buyer commitment, any other kind of roll call is purely speculative. Personally, I am not comfortable fronting 100% of a manufacturer's risk assessment. I've been burned like that before (and yes, by companies in business for a long time with solid reputations beforehand).brown-j002 said:So, instead of who is willing to commit verbally, it is now who is ready to put down a deposit or possibly pay in full.

This thread shows that there is indeed some interest in producing Galil receivers. However, businesses should make their production decisions based on sound market research first. Since they gain in profit, their risk burden should be greater, along with their incentive to produce a superior product.
That said, I would consider a nominal deposit if CNC Warrior requires such before actually starting production.
Ugh! said:CNC warriors threaded AK presale required a $20 deposit. That would be reasonable.
I'm hoping CNC warrior will send out a few prototypes to TennGalil and gunplumber to have them do a build and provide feedback.
