Posting pictures

I’m really struggling with posting pics. That whole image resizer thing is a task that I thought was over in the 90’s. As an example, our sister site (sturm) , does not have this issue.
Is there something we can do to make it better? If there’s a cost involved and that’s why we’re stuck with decades old technology , can we do a funding drive to get our site more useable?

“Postimage”, is the easiest. Download the app or save the site. All you have to do is upload the image. Copy the link and upload the link to your post. Takes about 60 seconds for the whole process. Easy peasy. YMMV. For the life of me and no disrespect. I don’t know how all you guys always have issues posting pics? If you own a machinegun you have to know how to tinker. Same as using the internet. Imho.

Yeah, because that 3~5 step process is so much easier and better than just picking a picture from your phone.

Sometimes things are what they are. Can’t control things that are above us. Also, it’s pretty easy once you get going on it. Another option is to just use an app called “Resize image” you just select the image and reduce the file size to under 1megapixel then save it to your camera roll and then just use that photo. Don’t shoot the messenger or get your panties in a wad. This is the process. YMMV!

I have tried figuring out how to use the app and can’t. Maybe it wants me to pay for the app to get what I need?
And panties aren’t in a wad. It wasn’t whining, it was trying to help in finding a solution. I guess the am15 adapter will just be a me project lol.

I use "photoshop" on my phone to resize. I like the forum layout and feel, and I think that if the picture thing was updated, the rest of it would be as well. And i dont like the newer styles of forums. So i view it as a headache, but a necessary evil in order to not have a "upgraded" website that sucks to use.

If you're working from an actual (Windows) computer...Paint does the trick as well.

Holy crap! I figured it out. For others that are technology challenged, I used the post image website, not an app. It was super easy and intuitive.

I use microsoft Paint, as someone above mentioned... If you have that app, I suppose it's free? It's easy, upper left corner, RESIZE a couple times
