Question for all you Uzi guys. Did any of you guys ever try this not for any real accuracy just for short burst fun time at the range. Do you think it will put undue stress on the trunion welds? It’s not the greatest picture, but I think you get the idea.
Thanks
Mike

That has never crossed my mind, but I would assume the trunnion welds are up to the task. There are bayonets out there that would put similar stress on the trunnion in use, though it’s never been clear to me how much bayonets were actually ever used.

If you think about it, by far the highest abuse the trunnion welds see is the bolt slamming forward on an empty chamber. It’s been a couple decades since I calculated the shear stress in that type of situation, but I’m fairly certain that it is orders of magnitude higher than the load from the weight of the gun, transmitted through the barrel / trunnion / bayonet lug into the trunnion welds.

What Bipod is that, and where did you get it? Looks cool. I was hoping to find a long barrel for mine, maybe 20" or so. A bipod would be great for that application in my opinion. I'm a fan of the bipod UZI

If you can find the Fab Defense tri rail it works great for the bipod application IMHO
