Hi!
Just back from the local range after about 2 hours of shooting despite rain and cold winds.
My gun had a strange trigger pull. The previous owner did some "bubba-work" on it and it was NOT good. So I mounted a new hammer wich now gave me a harder trigger pull but more clean.
Started shooting at 220 yards from a bench. Trying out 3 types of ammo and if they changed hitting point. Also tried different rest points on the hand guard to se if the bullets hitted the target different.
When I had the rest in front of the vertical grip the hitting point at 220 yards was 4 inches higher than if I used the lower tip of the vertical grip as support. Must be the relative thin barrel that is to blaim about that!
The military 62 gr bullet went 3 inches lower at 220 yards than 2 types of 55 gr civilian made ammo.
I use the gun for IPSC shooting so this is important info. for me...
Just want to bragg a bit...:rifleman In kneeling position, 220 yards, I managed to hit 5 rounds quite tight - se picture. Just love that rifle.
Regards
