What red dot sights would be a good choice for a MAX 10/31 and Fat Ghost upper?
I think a Vortex Venom would be great, but would it stand up to full auto use?
An Aimpoint PRO is tough as nails but is much bigger and heavier, maybe too heavy.
What's everyone using?
Thanks.

I parked a Trijicon RX34 on top of a MAX31A-mk2 hosted on my M11-a1. It is fabulous.

It's like looking through a plate glass picture window. Simple to acquire the dot and target, and you don't get knocked off your sight picture.

Check with Primary Arms. They have some decent red dots that are VERY well priced and come with a guarantee. I would think you’d want something with a slightly larger field of view vs something that meant for a pistol... i.e., smaller window.

3moa is big for me for a red dot, that means you're accuracy will always be worse than 3 moa. I look for a smaller dot, but unfortuantly its hard to find anything but a 2moa. I prefer the open style like this vs the tube style i have on some other guns. In full auto the gun moves around a lot and the tube can make it harder to keep sight picture and it is particuarly annoying to use irons when having to cowitness through the tube.

I put a Trijicon RMR with Larue mount on my fat ghost and an Eotech on my max10-31. I think they both work pretty well with those sights.

I dig the holosuns, too. Eotechy reticle that doesn't starburst as much with my astigmatism.

The Bushnell TRS26 is an updated TRS25.

I’ve got both. Much better field of view and the dot is a bit more round. The buttons are an improvement. Good optic for not much $.

Recommended.

I like the Sig Romeo 5. They co-witness with Magpul Popup sights on my Lage uppers. They have a manually adjustable brightness feature on the dot. Battery changes are done without having to take the zeroed optic off the rail.
