I took 3 of my grandsons shooting and thr 22 conversion kit in my 76 ran flawlessly. Only two ftf, both just faulty ammo.we ran through a brick of 22. Best 22 full experience I've ever had.
What ammo were you using?

This kit is a game changer and will change your mind on 22LR sub cal kits (especially, if you’ve had bad experiences. Unfortunately, a lot of people have).

SubGun.Store bolt is still looking great and it’s getting up there in round count too.

I just want to give a hats off to Todd at Subgun for producing a great product. His .22 conversion kit for the S&W 76 family of guns is awesome. My gun is a Fruithurst and it needed a little fitting that Todd helped me with and it now works flawlessly and I do mean flawless. I am confident if Todd knows you are ordering this for a Fruitherst gun he will have already tweaked it for you. I have used many flavors of ammo and it isn't picky. CCI Mini Mags have been my go too ammo and it will be for this configuration. Now I am going to try and make my 760 run this good in 9MM!

Thanks everyone for the orders. It was a fun and very successful project.

The kit runs near flawlessly and I think we made the SW76 and MK760 more valuable.

So I have 3 kits left for anyone still wanting one.

We appreciate everything you’ve done for the platform (22 conversion kits, optics mount and the stock. That’s not mentioning all of the stuff you’ve got out).

You all better get one before they’re 3k on funbroker!

Todd, I am curious, Approximately how many kits did you produce?

Todd just put some threaded 22 barrels on his website, order while they're available. Just click on the barrel option and select "threaded" when it comes up.

I put another 700 rounds of CCI Mini Mag through my kit today in a S&W 76 with ZERO jams, using a total of 7 different magazines. Shooting semi and full auto. This kit and the magazines are more reliable than my 10/22. Really incredible. Kit has 3,000 rounds on it now. Buy one if you can!

Just a heads-up:
I spoke with subgun24 (Todd) regarding his new threaded barrels. He mentioned there will be a short delay, as he’s decided to approach it in a different and better way.
Originally, the plan was to thread existing barrels and include a thread adapter. He’s since changed course and is having entirely new barrels manufactured, with a flared end. That flared end will feature a factory 1/2x28 thread pattern.

I think we can all agree this is a much better solution than using an adapter.

I’ve been chomping at the bits to get my threaded K barrel and I’m sure some of you all have been too. Frankly, I think the wait is worth the improvement.
