UPDATE Well, I received a text that it was delivered, but not to me! I called my mailman, it was his day off, but he tracked down the replacement driver, got my package, and drove it over to me! (he is also a gun customer of mine)
Mailmen like that, are a thing of the past.
I’d buy him lunch or give him a Christmas card.

Yeah, he's a gem. I had a lady like that for a long time, she gave personal service, drove right up to my door with both my mail and packages, now the woman who replaced her will bring a package up but puts the mail in the box at the foot of the driveway (downhill). Can't think with any logic or initiative.

Just a heads up, Todd @subgun24 continues to absolutely crush it!
He’s redesigned and updated the recoil spring setup for his S&W 76 and MK760 22LR conversion kit, he’s offering the new spring FREE to anyone who’s already bought a kit (just cover shipping). That kind of customer support is rare. For what it’s worth, I thought his previous recoil setup was already perfect but if Todd says this one’s better, I believe him.

On top of that and due to the new recoil spring, it looks like he may be rolling out 50 round stick mags for the setup soon too, which is awesome. There’s also talk of an updated McFadden loader adapter possibly being offered (not 100% sure but check his posts on Sturm).

I’ll report back, when I get my new updated spring.

I’m the meantime, here’s two 40 round mag dumps:

Update to Kickstand's update: Todd has a new and better McFadden loader adapter and he is automatically sending it out to everyone who has purchased one of the older ones! I saw it on Sturm last night. Never, Never, NEVER have I seen such customer service! 50 round mag dumps, bring it on, can't wait!

Great customer service, fast replies to questions, AND his kits WORK as advertised.
Makes going through a brick of .22 ammo EZ

Todd, really came in clutch with this one!
I should be able to test it this weekend and report back.

Agreed: Top Notch customer service. Emails answered in minutes, even late at night. Very little trigger time behind mine due to circumstances but the kit works for sure. Thanks Todd

I got one of Todd's upgraded recoil springs for his S&W 76 .22 lr conversion kit, and tested it out today (4/18/26) in my S&W 76. Previously, I had to exclusively use the originally supplied "extra power" recoil spring in my gun. Using that spring, and CCI Mini-Mags purchased from TargetSportsUSA, it was unstoppable. Incredible performance over several thousand rounds. I could not "pull singles" in full auto, but that was fine by me. The shortest burst I could get was two rounds. That's about the same performance as when shooting the gun in 9mm.
With the upgraded recoil spring I used today, I am able to pull singles with the same CCI Mini-Mag ammo, which is a definite upgrade in my book. The gun is still just as incredibly reliable in short or long bursts or pulling singles. Really a top notch product. I also tried some CCI-Mini mags in the 100 round rigid plastic containers (the TargetSportsUSA stuff is in 50 round cardboard boxes) and it worked perfectly as well. I don't know if it's the same ammo as in the 50-round boxes from TargetSportsUSA, just packaged in different containers or if there is a substantive difference. Just wanted to mention it.
Next, I tried some old Winchester M-22 ammo with the upgraded spring, and it worked well also. That ammo, however, in my experience does have the occasional bad primer no matter what gun it is used in for me. It is inferior, in my opinion, to CCI Mini-mags.
Finally, I tried two types of Federal bulk pack with the new upgraded spring and the original "extra power" spring, but that ammo is not to this kit's liking in my gun. In short, I fired about 500 rounds of the CCI Mini-Mags of both types and old Winchester M-22 (maybe 10 years old) and performance with the upgraded spring was flawless. My gun won't run on Federal .22. That said, I see KickStand has had great success with his kit and a variety of different manufacturers' .22 ammo.
Double thumbs up to Todd!

Thanks for reporting.
I still haven’t tried the new / upgraded recoil spring but hope to tomorrow (been doing some home remodeling and haven’t shot much lately due to that). Also, that’s interesting about your 76 ammo sensitivity. I’m fairly certain my 760 has ran everything I’ve tried though Todd’s kit (so far).
I’ll post some videos, if I can swing it.

Todd’s NEW 50 round mags are awesome (Video below). I ran these today with his new and free recoil spring.

His Lightnin Grip Adapter (even works with the 50 rounders).
