Need some help to determine fair market price for a FN style semi-auto. I am not one to watch the used gun market and I realize the current situation kind of screws up the market, but best guess estimates are appreciated. I am also asking this question about two other rifles, an FMP XG3S and a D-Max carbine. The FMP is in the HK forum and the D-Max question should be right next to this post.

The rifle is a Century L1A1 Sporter in .308 cal. This is a metric pattern gun. Barrel length is 20.5, there is no muzzle brake or flash hider and the barrel is NOT threaded. I purchased it in Nov 99. The upper receiver is an Imbel. The gun functions fine, but is missing the front sling swivel. Also the safety will move past the fire detent if pressed down too hard. This gun has less than 400 rounds though it. I have the front sight tool and 5 20 round magazines, which are marked 1-5. Rifle will hold the bolt open on empty mag. I would consider the gun to be in very good condition.

My favorite pattern 308 the FAL
It is after all " the right arm of the free world"

Had the same gun sold it in 2004 since replaced with a stg58 on a IMBEL

No idea what it's worth though 800.00 ??? DSA sells FAL for 1200 and even if the gun runs all day long it's got the "century" stigma to it.
I'd ask on this one over at the FALFILES someone there might want it gust for the L1A1 parts.
