Bought a SWD M11/9 for $3000 yesterday and a Suppressor for $200.00. Traded a Bobcat SW89 and cash for them. Felt like I got a pretty good deal. Now want to order upgrades before stamp comes in. Was thinking about a Lage upper and 22 conversion kit. What other upgrades would you recommend?

Recon or USMG mags, a couple of zytels if you want to shoot steel case (run better in my experience) Lage grip, Lage folding or fixed stock.

Better get on the list for the recon ord magazines as well as the Lage slows fire upper(s), you can find the number for the recon ord mags on the Lage manufacturing website. Www.max-11.com

I would get on the waiting list with Lage and start buying mags and drums.

I just got my m11/9 this past weekend. It's my first full auto. I thought I had stockpiled a decent amount of ammo. I was wrong.

You can never have enough.

Anything Lage sells is good to go. In addition to what has already been mentioned I would recommend the Lage safety and his fixed stock. You may want to consider reloading equipment unless you already have it. 147gr loads for your suppressor can get expensive but reloading them keeps the cost down.

Don't pay the $55 that USMG is currently charging for Zytel mags. Hopefully you can find some of the Pro-Mag ones, I just got 2 from Midway a couple of weeks now but of course they were out of stock again within hours. I had to sand mine down to get them to fit but other than looking ugly from the sanding they work fine.

Is your suppressor threaded 1/2-28 to go with the Lage kit or 3/4-10 for the OEM barrel? Also, is it user-serviceable?

I, too, have to find more magazines to add to the seven Zytels I have. I've been on the list for Lage upper for a couple of months now.

I noticed somebody mentioned the fixed stock with the Lage. Is there some reason I do not want the folding stock?

If your folder is in good shape, it'll be no problem. If it collapses under minor pressure, there are fixes... stop shooting it if it folds on you while shooting. Safety issue, duh. I like the original stock, but that said, I also have ACE stocks with homemade mounts for both the Max-31A and the AMP-11 uppers. My TASK gun has a very early brown Bakelite AR stock. I can't begin to tell you how many ridiculous offers I've gotten for just the stock off the TASK slowfire.

The M-10 still has the original folder on it (although I bought a wood stock for it a couple decades ago).
