Just for my info, do you know what day in April you sent forms off? I sent forms off "May-20th-2013" Maybe give me a approximate date.

Quick Update

Hello All,

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on where we're at.

We are hard at work on the various pieces of production tooling. The mold for the polymer followers is complete (need to get a picture of this). The different tools for the mag bodies are almost complete. The progressive stamping tool for the inserts and floorplates is the final piece we need to finish, which should go rather quickly.

The first batch of 30-round springs from Wolff is here.

The most realistic date I can give for beginning shipment is the middle of next month (mid-March). I know we’re taking longer than expected. But thank you to everyone for hanging in there with us. I believe these will be worth the wait.

All of the production tooling will be able to make 30- as well as 50-rounders. So the only real delay should be us catching up on stamping them out and mailing them out. Figure an extra two or three weeks for that to happen.

Will the ZMAGS be offered in .45 caliber for the MAC-10 at some point?

I'd bet there's not enough of a market to support development and tooling for M10-45... the big counts are in the 9mm SWD sized magwells -- we're grateful that they also work well in the SWD guns in .380 caliber.

If these mags work well on all the platforms as advertised, that's a huge benefit for all of us gunners.

I have a meeting scheduled for Friday morning to go over any last-minute details on the production tooling. I think that's light that I see at the end of the tunnel. Will post an update with pics on Friday afternoon/Saturday morning.

Darn, I dumped a lot of money into USMG mags.

Same here lol. Dropped 2k on USMG 50rdrs awhile back. Had to strip, refinish to a smooth rich black oxide, polish and lube to finally get them to run like butter.

Unfortunately about 3 months after that I decided to build a 200 round drum for it which is the only thing that sees any action lately. Well it is actually 2 100 rd drums that are connected to a 30rd stick but they both easily disconnect for storage/transportation.

I will buy some of these ones as well to keep the peace
