So are longer than 50 round stick mags possible?

Well, I’d think about it all day while at my day-job so I checked real quick.

Perfect fit. Testing will be later as I’d still have to make the plate the springs meet each other against.

See how the spines of the mags touch each other? Hard to see but the gap between the mags are filled/bedded so cartridges won’t bind at the junction. Really nice fit.

So I continued spending time out of my lifespan on this project.

Test fitting halves together with some 30 zmags.

Made the junction for the springs

Lets make some 50s join up

After 92 rounds the Uplula dents Federal cases. That's all for now...

I don’t think plastic will hold up to normal usage for years. I’d need to cast these out of aluminum. They’d probably last a lifetime.

I might sell my 100round Beta drum to help with the sand casting set-up. Won’t need the drum if I have these.

I made the jump. Sold my beta drum as mentioned. Will now order the sand casting setup.

The parts seem like good candidates for casting. Let’s see how this goes.

There’s a guy that makes mag splices for uzis and some other makes but nothing for the m11.

Plus his are (from description and pictures) made cheaply of plastic, rubber, and two metal flats.

I’m going to streamline the design from here, send to shapeways for slick sls printing and use those as the blanks to sandcast with out of aluminum.

Not planning to sell, but might make a few sets for members here that happen to want when I make the run of them.

That Uzi mag makes no sense. it would run more rounds if the beta was blocked off.
