I believe the sac serial number prefix indicates that it was originally made as a rifle.Am I missing something? What is there that shouldn't be?
I told the guy about it when he listed. He didn’t care. This happens 5 times a week with CM11/9 carbines that have been converted into pistols at some point… I wonder if it’s converted to full auto too, I’ve seen plenty of those on GB as well over the last few years of collecting lol
I have seen a few of the replica flats that were built-up sell on GB, and even one with the selector installed. It's crazy that collectors seem to know more than those who enforce the laws.I told the guy about it when he listed. He didn’t care. I know my FFL would have confiscated the gun, called the ATF and turned it over. I watched him saw a 3-hole MAK 90 in half with a dremel. Full chinese selector markings, too.
I mean, a legit Chicom F/A AK is almost impossible to find. I told him he should have sawed it lengthwise and mounted half like a deer head, but he was cursing the buyer and dremelling away at the rifle as fast as he could! He would not even let me have the hunk with the selector markings! Slapped it in a hefty bag and called the feds to turn over the remains.
Not like it did back in 2003, in the good ole days, before everyone on gunbroker became a junior ATF explorer 😆Who says the Wild West doesn’t still exist?
