Apparently these are like hen's teeth. Anyone have a source for them? Or maybe, at least for not sh!!ty ones? Not interested in the new ones made by UC9 that Apex sells. They're cr@p. Definitely want to try to find NOS-ish originals before I resort to another set of newly made ones. HELP ME!!!

It might be a good idea to try reaching out RTG. I purchased a few parts from them recently with their promo code that they offered. I got a really and I mean really nice used Uzi wood stock from them too.

Reach out to @Darwin@RTGparts and maybe they’ll have something that’ll work.

How much would an original, mint unused German set be worth? Just curious. I just looked at my parts supply and I have a set.

I wish I would have bought more!

Try Sarco, Numrich or RTG. I manage to get a full set of left and right handguard and grip plate set all sealed new in the factory bags with IMI shipping labels from 1962 to West Germany.

I’ll look again, but I’m 99% sure those are all gone now.

I’d happily give you $100 if it included front and rear sets of panels. PM me!

I'm sorry, I should have made it plain that they are not for sale. I only have the one set.
I was just curious what the going price is, figured this would be the appropriate place to ask. I guess there isn't any "going price" since the supply has completely dried up.

Anyway, in case anyone is curious, this is what the packaging looks like:

APEX doesn't have an NOS IMI made UZI grips.
We do have used / good condition take-off grips, about 2800 sets.
These were the ones removed from builds to make 922 compliance by installing US made grips.
I am sure that if you ask in the comments section of the order form the people picking the products and packing the orders can find you a decent looking set.
I may even have a look and select a set of spares for my gun!

I seem to recall reading here a few years ago that an Israeli security company was selling off all their uzis along with bins of brand new parts they had to support them. Supposed to be the last significant source of uzis out of Israel.

Have those ever shown up or are those the source for those new furniture sets people bought a while back?

Up until the recent changes at the ATF, when you imported parts every single pin, screw, spring, firing pin, sight post, etc, etc, had to be counted and documented on a form 6. Counted overseas and counted again for the US Customs official. Incorrect numbers could hold up and entire shipment.
Because of that not a lot of surplus spare parts were brought in.
Now that the ATF has changed its process I hope we see more lots of parts being offered.
We did just receive a nice lot of excellent complete UZI top covers

Looking at the packaging labels they were from August 1965. My spare set is in the same type packaging.

Today I looked thru the tray of the "good" condition UZI factory grip panels.
Judging by the casting marks on the inside I would guess there was 2 different makers.
Some had metal escutcheons, others had brass.
I found myself a nice clean set with the brass escutcheons for my gun, I think what is on it now are US made as it is a Group Industries conversion of a UZI model A.

I have several sets of the same sealed German but IMI made grips that Dirk posted but back then they didn't sell the grips for the front. Or at least I don't recall seeing them or I would have bought the front grips too.

Same here.

Looking in my box of UZI parts, I have a set of the German handgrip panels, but my extra foregrip panels are decent condition used IMI.

So I would say that NOS forgrip panel supply was gone more than 10 years ago.

Looking at the used take-off grip and foregrip panels APEX has on the shelf, I am noting 2 different makers marks on the inside.
One is a very squared off "G", the other looks like either an "X" or possibly crossed swords.
I have put the "X" marked grip panels on my UZI as they are a really black colour and have a sort of texture like early M16 furniture.

Are yours similar to these? I think I pulled these off my old Isreali parts kit from 2004. Sort of a bakelite look to them, variations throughout and almost a tan flake in the material. Crossed / hashed marks inside both grips

Yes, that same marking inside.
Bakelite might be a good description, with brass escutcheons, steel screws.
Now I need to find foregrip panels made of that same material.
The "G" marked panels are black, but not that same material.

Yes they suck, made of cheaper soft plastic and warp don't fit 100% right. Don't waste your $$ on them.
