If anyone needs their stamped feed ramps swapped out just let me know. Machined smg feed ramps provide the best feed possible for your smg, especially with flat nose subs and hollow points this is a registered receiver that wasn’t feeding properly, group/vector mini reweld receiver.

I do dress up the welds and spot finish the weld area if you don’t opt for a full refinish

My Vector won't feed flat point ammo at all unless the barrel has had the funnel opened up some as well.

I have a billet ramp too. I always wondered how much help the round is getting out of the ramp. I got my ramp installed before I had a chance to experiment with the crappy sheet metal ramp first.

I’ve found noticeable difference in multiple guns I’ve done that wouldn’t feed flat nose or HP with stamped but will with machined

That is so nice. Tempted to have you do that to my IMI SMG, but also kinda wanna keep it original. Feeds FMJ great and flat nose OK if i have a buffer installled.

Have you tried a barrel with the chamber end opened up?

Factory UZI barrels have a tiny funnel. The Thompson has a HUGE funnel, so much so that it will feed an empty case off the mag. But the UZI is the opposite, it's got a just a few mm of funnel. I suppose the logic behind it was that it feeds the military 124 grain FMJ RN great, so why do any more machining?

I recently got a KAK barrel that wouldn't feed any flat tip at all, a guy on this site opened it up for me, now it feeds great.

I would be reluctant to put a milled feed ramp in a factory SMG, if it was mine.

I am in this exact situation atm. New transferable ex-PD IMI SMG. Love it. Won’t feed FP/HP/TC/etc. worth a damn.

Would you PM me the contact for this? I’d love to get a couple/few barrels opened up.

EXACTLY!!!! I never understood for the life of me besides running Supressed the obsession with running anything but round nose ammo!!! Plus FP/HP commercial ammo is more expensive.
Well... some only want the very best for WWIII prep Ha Ha & Better to have and not need then to need and not have. & IF you own the real deal full auto anything, ammo just part of the joy of ownership of MG/SMGs IMHO.

To each his own. I would not only like the ability to shoot any ammo that I want/find on sale. When I had my steel feed ramp put in by Vector back in the day. I went to 100% reliability with any ammo I shot in it. That included 45ACP. I personally find zero downsides to the new feed ramp. I am glad AK arms (no affiliation by myself) has stepped in where a big hole in the Uzi gunsmithing world was.

I get 100% reliability from any ball type ammo I shoot in my Vector, including 45 acp.
