I could see how a slight increase in friction using Recon ord (single feed) mags could cause some problems. However, I have had the opposite experience with Wolf...before I had the feed ramp slightly bent on my Max-11 DF (this mod increased reliability 100% with all ammo) the only thing it would shoot was Wolf 9mm. Also something to consider is the OAL of the cartridge..Wolf has a OAL of around 1.16" and WWB 1.14". This slight increase in OAL may not leave enough fore/aft clearance in some mags. This could also increase friction as the nose of the bullet rubs the front of the mag (especially a 70-80 rnd stick)....the biggest benefit to Wolf 9mm is cartridges resistance to any distortion...such as having the bullet being pushed into the casing, this is issue with my BRP STG-34K using stick mags. You may also increase overall feeding reliability with any ammo by using a quick spray of Silicon or dry lube (Richard Lage tuned me on to JIG-A-LOO..Home Depot) to a few boxes of loose ammo. Anyway I have had really good luck with Wolf 9mm in all my Subguns...and is my primary ammo if not using reloads.
