white lithium grease on the bolt & any load bearing surfaces.

:D The owner of a local hardware store is an enthusiastic user of my firearms,,, anything full-auto is good to him, and he has been kind enough to go over and above when I am in need of a special tool, solvent, etc.
The look on his face that day when I requested a 1.5 inch bronze bore brush was priceless! :50_cal

I have been using one of those M-60 receiver brushes for my tube guns. It's about 1-inch square by about 4-inches long. It works pretty good.

I use a chimney brush for the inside of my M2 .50 receiver... does that count?

New Item: Buffers

Anybody here use a MK5 end cap and buffer on a MK4? Did you use it to stop a problem? Or to keep your expensive toy from developing a problem?

Did you notice any difference in RPM?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I use the Mk5 end cap in my Mk4 in order to raise the rpms. I also lightened the bolt and cocking handle block to reach 625 rpm. You have to be very, very careful when playing around with the bolts length of travel because of the run-on factor. I have never had a problem with bolt bottoming out on the Mk4 with the standard cap, I just wanted to increase the RPMs.
