Those of us who paid in advance to make this happen congratulate you on your mercenary success.

You got a price break for the trust/risk you took

I prefer to pay more and take no risk

Didn’t want it at first either. Decided it might be smart as these mags are drying up

The springs would never have been made if everyone was as suspicious as you seem to be -- thanks to everyone who participated, even the late comers.

Exactly my point. I (and a whole bunch of others) committed early for the greater good.

And I think my total for 5 springs was $105.

Thanks Klyph - much appreciated.

still supporting their springs by giving them more profit on them

One thing that no one has mentioned, these springs were produced at a very reasonable price, about what you would pay for a modern common mag spring. Considering the reverse engineering that went into it with no specs or blueprints, there was no price gouging.

I installed one of my spring sets in a random coffin mag. Everything fit perfectly. When loading I could feel a definite difference in the amount of resistance between the mag with the new springs and the other coffin mags I loaded. Function was 100% from my BRP Stemple U9.

Thanks again to Klyph, Sprinco, and everyone who participated and made this happen. This was a great deal for all of us and for these coffin magazines in the future.

I believe Alan told me the springs are about 5% stronger so there is more resistance, but forty years from now they may be very similar, lol.

Looks like Alan is now sold out of the springs. I spoke to him yesterday and he sold me (10) springs that were blems which I think were the last little bit. They still functioned flawlessly he just didn't like how they looked.

I told him it will probably be worth doing another run of them in another six months or so. I explained to him the Mac series are one of the most popular machine guns out there and I'm sure there are some stragglers and people that would pick up some more. I even offered to put the money down on a few hundred sets so he's not stuck with them (not that I need them, just for the community) and but we will figure that out later and maybe make another thread.

They should make a few hundred extra sets and leave them for sale on GB

Not everyone w Suomi guns are here on UT. Most aren’t.

I'd be in for 3. I had thought there was going to be the pre-order price, and then a stocking inventory price that was a little higher. I was broke at the time and had thought I would just buy them later, but it looks like it was a one-run thing!

I'd also be in for 4 or 5. Just got some new mags and they are in dire need of some new springs.

What the hell, I'd take 5 sets. I purchased 20 sets of springs and recently purchased 5 more coffins from a guy on Facebook. They were in excellent shape. Very nice.
