Are you using any kind of adjustable gas block or other gas management part to get that ROF? What suppressor if you don’t mind me asking?
I am running an adjustable gas block. And the suppressor is a form 1 formed freeze plug. It is drilled to .4", so not the most efficient for this application.
I do kind of really like the chugging for that gun.

ok
so stock ar15 with cmmg will need to get the bb trip
works by hand but not in ss with live fire
none of the 45 ars work even the cmmg with bazooka bros lower will not work
will not work with glock lower....
Need more info.
Caliber, barrel length, buffer weight, SS kit maker
If we are talking CMMG 22 kit, then you need the BB SS adjustable SS trip not the CMMG full auto trip.

Thanks! Yeah, around 600rpm is very pleasant in my experience with various subguns. I bet it is nice in an AR as well.

Ran a Subgun match a week ago with a couple guys running SS in AR Glock lowers. They ran about 75-80%.

Naturally the subguns all ran fine. MP5s actually had a similar malfunction rate to the Glock mag ARs with SS.

When they ran those Glock mag ARs with a SS kept up with use with FA pretty good!

I wonder what caused that many malfs?

I’ve had reliability as good as my MGs across all calibers. 22lr might even be more reliable as SS. My shrike will probably never see my MG lower again. All SS all the time

I rounded the hammer on my MP5 SS. With that I could then remove the SS short stroke buffer. The SS now runs the same speed as my sear MP5

Were the MP5s in question MGs or SS setups?

it's not out yet. They mention the maker in the video but I forgot. I'm sure more of the makers will jump on it.

That is pretty cool for the people that prefer the standard safety switch, while not wanting to have to use their soul as collateral to buy a FRT. If that price point is accurate. I have never liked how AR safeties felt, and much prefer the cross bolt safety. Which my short little fingers always have to reaaaaaach for flipping the standard switch.

There appear to be a bunch of different websites for Atrius. I am not sure which (if any) is the real one.

It looks shaky and they give a discount of crypto bucks which is a sign of not being a real company.

Anyhow, I'm sitting the FRT thing out until there is better definition on if they are legit or not.

Watch out for fake websites. If they are selling every kind of FRT, they are fake. If they ask for crypto, fake. AI is making cloning much easier.

I observed 2 FA AR shooters on either side of me on the range the other day: one w/a NFA lower, and the other w/ SS installed. The NFA gun was fired mostly in controlled bursts, and a couple longer bursts. The SS shooter did a couple 30rd mag dumps. He told me the SS needed a little filing out of the box now worked fine. Hard to tell the difference watching the 2 guns run and listening to the cadence. But got me thinking - a new rifle cal upper for the NFA M10/11 RR seems pretty spendy now, considering.

I was at a MG subgun competition over Memorial Day weekend. From watching shooters run the course we couldn’t tell who was shooting a MG and who was shooting a SS.

This brings up an interesting thought...well at least for me. Every Subgun competition I've participated in, mandated that your weapon operate in full auto mode only through the course...no semi-auto.

By definition, SS mode is a semi-auto mode. I think I'd have to protest ;)

The ones I've been to often have semi classes to bring more shooters in. Last time I was there they limped the SS guys with the FA guys.

It's a very laid back thing. IMHO, who cares. People are out shooting and having fun.
