I'm on the wait-list for a Versa-10 and Glock 17 magwell - what mags and drums have you guys tried and had success with? Any mags or drums to stay away from?
I have tried all types of mag’s including ETS mag’s with no problems. I have also tested various 50 round drum mags’s without problems. The Glock drums are very difficult to load compared to Suomi Drums.

Sterling mags would be interesting because of their unmatched reliability and ease of loading by hand. Unfortunately, the contour is rather excessive to be used in a vertical configuration; not to mention they are somewhat expensive for stick mags.

Suomi sticks are the easiest I have hand loaded. They are easier than Uzi mags for the samples I have (30+ of each). Both are a major leap over single stack loading though.

That said, I wouldn’t pick Suomi vs Uzi based on ease of loading. Both are easy enough. They lock in very different ways and have different capacities which is probably more relevant. Also the Suomi magwell exists, while the Uzi ones don’t at the moment, which would seem to be the biggest factor to me.
Would Suomi 36 rd stick still work that were converted for the m10/9? I can’t recall what all was converted

All over the place!

I have been pleasantly surprised with the ETS mags. Even ejecting partially loaded mags onto the ground for the last year in PCC matches, has caused no damage. Gun Mag Warehouse currently has 40 rnd mags on sale for $15.
