My friend is selling his NIB SWD M11/9 SMG for $4300.
We're in the same state so only one stamp is required.
Should I buy it or move along?

I already have beat-up SWD M11/9 SMG as well as HK sear & RLL.
Saved up some money for RDIAS purchase but this NIB SWD deal looks interesting as well.

Should I buy it? is this a good deal?
I brought my SWD M11/9 for $2000 only a few years ago so not sure this is a good deal in today's standard.

Any thoughts?

No brainer......buy it. Look at what the asking price is for used m11/9s on the subguns board. $5k+ for NIB.

I would walk and pass it to a friend. You already have a shooter, and in my eyes, it's not worth the hassle for a few hundred dollars of profit when all is said and done.

consider it as an addition to your investment portfolio, like CDs, stocks or bonds. my MGs out performed the S&P 500 this year and that's saying something. you'll have more than one M11 but that's no different than owning more than one share in a given company. consider this owning two shares of MAC. and i guarantee no other investment will return as much fun.

If it will stall your purchase of a RDIAS, I would say pass. If you can afford both, well then you know what to do...

Nice score! the price was right. As for your other questions, NIB for a M11/9 is meaningless. They typically have issues out of the box, and a well used problem free unit shares the same value. As this is an entry SMG the value is again in the fun full auto range time it provides, not worth tucking away….IMHOP. Anyway there has been long discussions on weather NFA items are considered investments, again I would not classify the M11/9 family of SMG's into that pool (unless you acquired it for nothing). Also be advised that all NFA items could be gone tomorrow with the stroke of a pen.
