Tapco Galil Magazine in FA Galil??

Hello,

Anyone here who knows if the Tapco Galil magazine will fit and function properly in a FA Galil??

I have problems finding magazines here in Europe for my FFV 890C (Galil SAR) and the Tapco magazines my dealer can import from Brownells.

You should be fine, fits bettter in my IMI Galil receiver than a brand new Orlite mag. I like the Tapco Galil mags.

Borrowed a Tapco magazine from a friend and it worked perfect in my FA FFV890C.

Another question.......will the mag catch "tab" on the magazine stand up to use or wear down??

I've found most mags made of plastic (In general terms) will eventually have the front Tab snap. Plastic Vs. Steel will always have Steel win. Once this happens, you have a 1.5lb paperweight.
But unless you are doing some extreme practice or use with them, they should be fine.
A gorgeous rifle too.
