Not sure if this is the right place to post this or if I am allowed to post links. I thought the Uzi and Mac guys would get a kick out of this. I can't believe "It's not a machine gun".

As i understand it, Gatling guns are not classified as Machine Guns because they are manully operated

That is awesome. I also expect it will be "Meh" after a few hundred rounds. Sort of reminds me of the Winchester 10 gauge cannons in terms of Neat-to-meh in an hour.

Meh. Also it’s hilariously TINY. At least you could mount it on a bike or jeep...

Would be really fun as a post-sample. The GE minigun was developed from early experiments of attaching an electric motor to an original Gatling gun. IIRC, a couple military officers "borrowed" a few originals from the basement of Bannerman's in NYC and got them up to several thousand rounds a minute speed. I can see a high speed Milwaukee 90 degree drill in 20 volts being adapted...

Wonder how much it weighs without the base? Attach a shoulder stock...

I bought one. Hopefully I’ll have it in the next couple of weeks. As Gatling guns go, they are very inexpensive compared to the other options on the market. With a Glock drum it will be really fun.

I know the guys at Tippmann well and have some firsthand experience with this gun. They run well and are a neat novelty gun, not sure that I would buy one, but not due to quality concerns.

It would be fun to shoot a couple of times but would just collect dust after that. At that price you are close to having enough for a Sten or Mac. Of course. If you live in a state that does not allow FA then it might be an option. Not sure what a Cali compliant Gatling gun would look like

If you owned one, you could make a lot of money by renting it out at the range.

Is it considered to be a "pistol"???

Of course not. It does not meet the definition of a pistol. But in the same manner, it also does not meet the definition of a rifle, so rifle barrel length restrictions would not apply.

It does meet the definition of a Title I firearm. It transfers much the same as a pistol gripped 12-gauge, that has no stock, and is not “concealable”.

Brownells sells them for $125K.

Before you get out your checkbook note the date of the vid.

Unfortunately the motor driven miniguns are classed as MGs and as such the receiver by itself is an MG, so you would have to make a different receiver to qualify as semi auto.
