Some of you guys will absolutely lose your mind with an M-10 beltfed option. :shocked

You’ll be required to sign a waiver to absolve A&S from any liability that may result from blown minds or martial discord resulting from excessive spending on ammo. You’ve been warned!

When will the adapter for M-60 parts kits be released?

Is this adapter select fire?

The safety still works on the M10 lower but since the trip is removed the selector is not used. The adapter, however, does have safe, semi and full built into it.

Will we be able to see a pic of the internals soon? I'm super interested in how this thing was designed.

All the buffers that are listed have moving tungsten weights inside them. All the buffers I listed are for full auto applications. The all tungsten buffer has a tungsten body with tungsten weights inside. It is new. I included one with my first order of H2 buffers for the first production run.

NICE! Where can I get one? I'll be drilling my hole soon, and would love to have an obscenely heavy buffer. Your tungsten with tungsten weights sounds perfect.

There is no reason to drill a hole in the back of your lower unless you just want a hole there. No modifications to the frame are necessary.

Yes, the adapter will be select fire.

It would be a very limited market but wouldn't a M60 E6 upper be cool?

We are looking to showing the details of the mechanism hopefully this weekend. Again this is an adapter, not a "ground up " firearm. Something we worked very hard was the feature of, once the Tenko adapter is adjusted to the specific M10 receiver, then going from a pistol caliber upper to the adapter will not require tools. We are working on the details. Please be patient.

For AR buffers search "heavy buffers" . My favorite rifle caliber AR buffer is the MGI rate reducing buffer. The Tenko 10-16 adapter doesn't require the hole in the back of the reciever. The Tenko 10-16 uses a special Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) that is more compact than the standard AR carbine buffer system.

In discussing this further with my engineer, we are not going to go into the details of the mechanism to convert the M10 open bolt fire control to the closed bolt system for use with the AR upper receivers. This is the part of this adapter that is basis of our patent. But a patent is only as good as the amount of money that can be spent on a lawyer to defend that patent.

Once we actually come to market with the project all the details will be revealed. But our engineer pointed out, the longer the time between giving the details of the mechanism and actually selling the product, the more time that someone might able to use our design work and try to go around our patent. It brings to mind the Lage internal recoil system. Richard didn't release the details of that system until just before the Max-11/15 started to ship. Now I get it. The rest of the Max-11/15 is a refinement of the S.A.B.R.E. The S.A.B.R.E. mechanism is public knowledge and was not patented. But the I.R.S. is not. The "Fat 47" seems similar to the a cross between the S.A.B.R.E. in 7.62x39 and the Max-11/15. But since there is no patent anyone can build a similar open bolt upper. I get that you guys want more details. For the protection of our patented idea, we need to bring the Tenko 10-16 adapters to market before giving all the details. I would hope that everyone will understand. This is a huge undertaking for our family. We are going to try to give A&S Conversions L.L.C. the best opportunity to succeed. We would appreciate your understanding.

I'm getting ready to drill the hole because I've been waiting about 2 years now for the FIRST decent 5.56 upper for my M11/9. So a super heavy buffer for the upper I (should) have in the next week or so would be useful.

The Tenko is still over a year away for me.

Awesome thanks! I'm guessing batches of 20 a month or week or something similar?

We are working with a small fabricator near us. The owner was actually the one that put me in touch with the engineer. Without the engineer, I'd still be a guy with a cool idea stuck in his head. I feel so lucky to be working with such a great team. I can't say enough great things about everyone that has been involved in helping me down the path to get to market. The support, time, and effort everyone on the team has contributed means the world to me. Thank you all so very much.

The first run will be 20 to sell. We will be making 25 in the first run. The fabricator said he can get 50 to 75 per month to start. With time and experience, he feels that he can produce a little over 100 per month.

do you have plans to offer future conversions that would allow post 86 machine guns to function on the mac 10? opening up all sorts of toys not available in the current nfa market ???

is the mac 10 a better host for future products because of the large size (room to put more stuff) or does your conversion have enough room to function in the smaller uppers just fine?

any hints on future conversions? a hk host possibly?

Some of what might be able will certainly be limited by the patents of the original manufacturer. We certainly want to explore other firearm mechanisms. I get that there is quite a bit of excitement around the possibilities that "might" come to market. But the other possibilities are a year or more away. Quite frankly we are concerned about others developing possibilities ahead of us. There are many possibilities that have occurred to me.

Post 86 mgs are still unavailable. I don’t understand your idea.

I get adapting other modular uppers to the MAC.. I’m all for that!! Almost infinite options.. good to see the MAC starting to realize it’s full potential under the current regulatory regime!

Those are not modular guns the same way the AR is. There is no concept of Magwell blocks or the like in the HK world. Thus you would have to have an adapter for each different caliber. As far as I know no one has made a roller lock delayed upper for the AR-15, but it's possible.
