What hasn’t been mentioned is that this is a closed bolt system. Unmodified, off the shelf upper, bolt and bolt carrier.

And yes there are 2 push pins just like any other AR to remove the upper and put on another.

So the buffer is in front of the back of the lower? I’m struggling to picture this thing. Can use any stock option like the lage stock?

Because it’s free to get on a waiting list, it provides a rough and dirty level of interest for the manufacturer (divide by 2 or 3 to gauge demand).

Will a tromix 458 upper come to live permanently on my M10? Probably not, but the option still excites me.

My integrally silenced 450 bushmaster upper is!

So will a Shrike beltfed Upper fit then? :)

Yes.
Any upper that fits an AR-15/M-16 will fit the Tenco.

Are there going to be different adapters for every caliber/mag?

A picture would be helpful.

Can I get on the waiting list for the pictures?

This just won everything.

ETA: if you guys screen-grab the last video at the end, you can see the outline of the rifle in the sunlight. The magwell shape appears to look a bit like the ARX.

Curious how the pdw buffer will work or look ?

A buffer over the top of the normal m10 stock ?

Without drilling a hole it sounds like how it’s going to be

I’m thinking this would raise the whole upper over the top of the m10

Without pics we can all guess

Buffer inside the m10?

Stopping and looking at the last half second of this video you can get a good idea of what is going on. There seems to be an adapter that sits into the M10 lower receiver that has a buffer tube end fitting into the M10 lower where the upper would fit. It then goes forward and 'down' to form a magazine well. The front pin of the M10 holds it together. The AR-15 uppers then fit into the adapter which is designed to receive it and hold it with the usual two pins. The question is how does the firing mechanism function - open bolt, or what?

Well, I emailed sam and tina to get on the list, but it all depends on the pricing. If it's as much or even close to what the Max15 upper is, and which I truly appreciate, my spot will be unfilled because I'm priced out of it.

Nevertheless, I do appreciate it and am anxiously awaiting further details because like many others commenting here, I'm at a bit of a loss how the buffer system is going to work.

my guess without real pictures just the vid, is a closed bolt FA FCG much like the M16 but then they say any upper so hmmmmmmm
but then if they can make it so people who cant affor the real deal FA MAC and they could use this on an MPA lower well dang they would get even more business

It seems premature. They should of waited to post when they have actual pictures of a product.
