if you guys screen-grab the last video at the end, you can see the outline of the rifle in the sunlight.

Thanks — that screen grab posted by TSPC is golden now... the initial post has been edited and the link to the second video removed!

All over the place!
Looks like the mag well is at least 3” beyond the end of the receiver. That’s gonna add to the length quite a bit.
But for a belt fed, who cares!

No problem, but TSPC did all the heavy lifting. I was just trying (like everyone) to get a look at it. My thinking is either show it or don’t... the tease doesn’t really play, especially on a dedicated forum with such voracious consumers of all-things-MAC.

I'm guessing some sort of striker block for it to be able to operate closed bolt.

Yes, there will be pictures. If I had posted pictures there would have been a whole technical explanation/discussion on how, what, when, where, etc. This has been the biggest project of my life. I am a working class guy. It is after 10:00 P.M. here and I need to get up at 4:00A.M. I don't have any to sell today, next week, next month, and it will be more than likely next year before I do. I wanted to announce the basics of what the Tenco 10-16 is able to do. That's it. I want to break this into small chunks as I have a wife and two children less than 10. I can't sell a Tenco 10-16 tomorrow if I wanted to. But I do need to get up and go to the first day of a new job tomorrow. I am sorry that the information isn't coming as fast as some would like. It will come long before there will be any product to buy. Thank for your patience.

This is not my product, but I was asked to be one of the testers and put over 10 thousand rounds through a pre-production adapter in just two weeks time. It’s totally legit. I signed an NDA so there’s very little I can say just now.

Like Richard, I’ve announced beta products and shown still pictures, testing videos, and maintained wait lists. This innovative product has been the Tenco creator’s dream for many years. I’ve known and shot with him for much longer than this dream, and count him amoung my close friends.

Perhaps he’s handling things a little differently and you may not agree with his methods, but I’d ask you to respect his approach. You simply wouldn’t believe the time and money spent to reach this point, but I guess if this was a cheap and easy endeavor everyone would be doing it. They’re not.

The Tenco internal recoil system was approved before the Lage system, but it is very different. In fact, the only things in common are the use of some AR-15/M-16 parts. The Tenco is a closed bolt systen. Uppers are easy to swap with a pair of captive AR take down pins. Dump three or four mags and swap uppers allowing for cooling time. With three uppers, you can shoot mag after mag, case after case of ammo all day. For those with limited FA rifle caliber experience, these uppers get super hot!

Closed bolt .22, 9mm, 5.56, .300 BO, etc. M-10 owners now have a belt fed options too! Yep. That’s probably the biggest one for me!

Hang on guys. Details and photos are are coming.

Scott, thanks for letting us know what is in the works. Personally I’m excited to have another option to configure the MAC platform. You clearly stated the patent was pending and a revised version had been sent to tech branch for review. And yet some people want blueprints and detailed pictures. You would think that patience would exist in the NFA community sine we regularly wait six to eight months for stamps. The fact that it takes stock AR uppers is huge in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong the Max 11/15 is great but being able to exchange inexpensive uppers at the range is a plus.

I sent Tina an email to get on the wait list. I just got my baby ghost last week so I needed another wait list to get on. Between Lage, Vegas and Sam I have been on one wait list or another for the past two years.

Wishing the prices would be less than Lage. That would be something in your (and our) favor.

The guys on the fence at $3k might’ve jumped when the time came.

Food for thought.

I wanted the lage max 11/15 until I saw the price and said "nope."

That being said, this has the (BIG) added benefit of pushing two pins and swapping ANY standard AR upper and belt fed; therefore, I'm extremely interested especially if this will work on a powder springs Mac without the receiver tabs. He tested it on an original powder springs, so time will tell if I have to get tabs welded on. which I don't plan on doing for a long time.

I think the fact that it fires from a closed bolt is really interesting.

FUCK!

Just HAVE to announce this a week or so before I get to pay for my 11/15. To be able to just buy an adapter and throw any upper I want on is AWESOME. And closed bolt too?

OF course, it won't be made for the M11/9 for another year. Guess I can always sell my Lage if this takes off.

Well I guess I'll sell my Colt M-16A1... NOT... but will be on the list for a MAC 10-16.

Now Vegas, let's go with the tungsten bolt to really slow down the 16.

Thank you for the kind words. "Vegas" your help and support means the world to me. I don't think I can acquitly express how much much your help and input on this project has meant to me. Thank you so very much.

I get that $3,000 is a lot of money for an adapter. But I need to pay myself. I'm guessing I have more than 1,500 hours in this project. That's time away from my family and just doing what I like to do. I also could have put that $100,000 on the house we bought two years ago. If it didn't cost me anything to make, and all the parts were free, I think $500 per unit would eventually pay me back. But the aluminum, engineering, manufacturing, anodizing, and parts are not free. This is a very small market. I started with the M10 for two reasons. 1)This would be the last model Lage would do. 2) The M10 reciever is wider and deeper to fit the parts in more easily. Things will be tighter fitting the fire control into the M11/NINE reciever.

As far as a list for the Tenco 11-16, contact Tina at Practical Solutions. Both Tina and Sam have been so very helpful with this project. I would not be as far as I am without them. Sam has been kind enough to try the Tenco 10-16 into many different brands of M10 recievers. It is my understanding that the Tenco 10-16 will fit in all of them so far. Some are very tight but do fit.

We will pictures and 3D models of how the Tenco 10-16 adapter works and how it all goes together without tools after the initial setup. I really appreciate everyone's patience while I work through this and start a new job.
