Scott has done a wonderful job on this adapter. I can’t let on too much but he approached me with his idea and an approved version of the adapter so that I could try not how it works but how it fits onto different M10 lowers. We tried it on all the normal registered lowers but even on lowers that many of you do not even know exists (registered in CA). There were several suggestions that were given at that time. He then sent us the version you all saw running and that version incorporated super innovative ideas for the suggestions I gave him. This version is the ultimate in engineering innovation. We have tried our copy on lowers with and without receiver tabs, standard 9mm and Uzi converted and several 45 frames including Hatton Industries and Jersey Arms works. We have shot our adapter in .22, .223/5.56 and 300 Blackout. We have used both the CMMG and Ceiner .22 kits. There is no reason for this unit not to work as an M16 because it adapts the M10 lower to BE an M16 which is already a proven platform. I cannot thank Scott enough for all the work he has done and the years he has spent thinking it through. I am also thankful that Scott chose to include Practical Solutions as part of his “experience” team in testing such a great product. All of the testers have loads of video and we will be posting it as the weeks go on. Patience is something that you learn in the NFA world as we wait for our transfers, products, love letters, etc. Sadly, I see some have not learned that lesson. Please bear in mind ALL that it takes to bring even a simple product to market let alone a project like Scott’s that takes the complex and works it into a simple and innovative solution.

You can use any configuration of stock that fits the supplied mount but you will find that some fit YOU better than others and “cool” looking is not the same as what functions best.

Will a Lage 10/31 be compatible as far as pop 10/-16 off put lage on and backs and forth?

I take from the above that a lage folding stock is not compatible?

If the 10/31 fits your lower already then yes it’s compatible. I didn’t say anything about not working. I said you will find some stocks will fit YOU better than others.

This is a really cool idea! Hopefully a m11a1 will eventually be developed. Looking forward to seeing more about it as the project proceeds.

I cant wait to see the m10 sear to hammer release mech .

FTB approved a piece of metal with a hole drilled in it that holds a trip for a m16 carrier, you have my attention.

Like the Lage Max-11/15, the AR magwell must be forward of the end of the reciever. To line up the fire control, the magwell needs to be pushed forward even more than the Max-11/15. So what might be comfortable with a pistol caliber upper, the Tenco 10-16 might be more comfortable with a shorter stock. The stock adapter is set up for Lage, Ace, or an AR stock. The Tenco 10-16 can even be used with a folding stock. But the additional length for the folding mechanism could add unwanted length of pull to the stock.

I don’t have a dog in the fight but I feel I should tell you how to run your business. Oh wait I’m late to the fight. Guess I’ll let you make the decisions without my input. Hope the Best!

Thanks Scott your explanation is great and makes a lot of sense. Can’t wait to hear more. I sent Tina an email yesterday to be added to the list but have not heard back yet.

I get that $3,000 is a lot of money for an adapter. But I need to pay myself. I'm guessing I have more than 1,500 hours in this project. That's time away from my family and just doing what I like to do.

Scott that is it in a nutshell. Everything is too expensive so they feel it’s the nature of the beast with most people. In general nobody has a clue about the time and money that goes into this stuff with such a limited market. Sounds like you have something very cool coming to the market.

Good luck
Joe

What Joe said above times a million, I hate the wait for transferrables but I fully understand what time and money goes into developing something like this, please accept my thanks and carry on......from someone who never did buy a m11/9 and am tickled shitless that my three fat macs are getting some attention now.
