Ok... why would you take a 45 ACP subgun… with mags that WORK... spend 3 grand on an adapter to mount an AR upper, and then run that upper in 45???

$4000+ solution to a nonexistent problem.

What the hell am I missing here?

It's not even like the 22lr in the 11/15 upper that folks want to do, to run better mags. The mag options for the AR in 45 SUCK.

The barrel doesn't appear to be parallel to the mac receiver. Weird. Im guessing that is why a stock adapter is included.

That is correct. The M10 is angled down. There needs to be room for the fire control adapter and an angled magwell which is the grip is more comfortable to shoot since the magwell of the M10 is not being used with the adapter.

Yea I saw that i hope it’s not on a different plane

Scott if you make the magwell take a gg mag later will that be offered to those who get an adapter on the first few rounds? Also how many of these can you make at a time or in a batch?

Modification of the Tenco 10-16 adapter for use with .45 might be a service that Sam would offer. Think of the magwell of the Cav Arms lower.

I don't own a M10 so for me this will add a caliber to my M11/9 or hopefully my M11A1.

I'll wait for a picture to judge the aesthetics but I kind of like the angled upper. It puts the pistol grip at a better angle. Reminds me somewhat of the Jatimatic SMG.

I have a DI SBR 45ACP AR45 and if I am dropping 3k on this adapter i would like the option to shoot it off that upper. The OEM 45 upper is a bullet hose with a strap

Alright. I'll adress the elephant in the room.
Who's going to produce a belt fed 40mm grenade launcher upper for this thing? :D

I thought it was supposed to just pin an AR upper onto a MAC.

That's not an off the shelf AR upper I've ever seen...

Here's a picture of the upper and lower used in the video. As you can see, no modifications. Yes, the adapter is conveniently missing.

Ok, there is a small mod to the lower receiver. The trip must be removed to allow for clearance. Less than a 20 seceond job, maybe 30 for Stevie Wonder.

My test mule was an OEM Powder Springs M-10/45 without reinforcing tabs. Four different off the shelf and unmodified 5.56 uppers and BCGs plus a pair of 9mm uppers were used along with a range of various AR magazines and Brta C drums.
