I haven’t figured that one out either. I stayed away from those and the 10/22 for similar reasons.

My M&P 9mm FRT is really fun and an easy install. I never knew what a great pistol this was even in semi. They’ll have a 3 pos by end of year. I might upgrade which says a lot since I’m fairly cheap 🤣

My 5.45 AK is getting really close. I’ve taken my time rounding the trigger

On a sad note, my 30mm GAU cannon went off to a new home today. The garage seems so empty now. Fortunately, it went to a friend so I have visitation rights

(Yep - that’s a Tesla pulling it 🤣)

Damn you. Now I sense an M&P 9mm FRT SBR in my future.

And +1 on the CT pulling the 30 lol

Why do all the Glock FRTs suck?

Curious. Have you tried any? I can see how the operation is a bit different than others. Are they just not very reliable? I'd honestly rather have a Glock 19 FRT than the M&P.

The M&P 9 FRT is unavailable as they've halted sales due to waiting for an ATF determination latter.

I found these for the Glock and and just happen to have a Glock 43 on hand.

Try it and report.
My deal is the videos make them look unreliable and most report it's a skill to shoot them well.

I'm where I was on the AR15 FRTs. Until there is a reliable 3 pos, I'm holding back.

Alaska Shooter,

What FRT are you running on the AK?

I installed a SkoPrints on my crappy Romanian and it works great. The rate of fire is pretty slow and you do feel the trigger going forward quite a bit but it runs and runs well. After a few 30s or a single 75 round mag it's really hot.

It’s a Harrison Gunworks kit. My buddy has the same one in his 223 krink.

They definitely do have a long reset. I’m wondering how much I can reduce the reset and still get the disconnector reset in order to reduce the “slap”

I was wondering the same but it runs so well that I decided to leave it alone. I find the ARs so much nicer to shoot with their higher rates of fire.

I am looking forward to trying the TX22 FRT from Strobro.

I’m getting closer on the Krink. It works with a lighter pull but will malf with a death grip pull. I’ll take some more off the trigger (little by little)

Is there a learning curve to these or can you just squeeze the trigger and they’re good to go?
I know bump sticks (sometimes) had a bit of a learning curve.

Everything other than the Krink had no learning curve or special trigger technique.

The Krink is a different type of FRT and requires more work to install and fit. The AK FRT cam forces the trigger forward. The cam is hit by the bolt under recoil.

As initially installed, the cam sticks up too high and doesn’t allow the bolt to travel. It requires a bunch of fitting to keep lowering the cam by removing material from the trigger.

I’ve just been slowly removing material so I don’t accidentally take too much.
