I'm on the list too.

Where's a good place to buy nice drums and what's a good price point?
Thanks all.

Not sure if it's the best, but I just ordered 4 of them at around $47 each from what-a-country. Listed as "good condition" with wear and dings. They should be here in the next few days so I'll try to update when they come in. I think it was around $202 shipped.

I know it's going to be months on the wait list, but these mags seem to be less common these days...

Jackie will email you a number telling you.

Suomi drums are hit and miss I was buying them from GB from a guy that was doing the penny auction.

Guess he got tired of selling them from 12 to 20 bux a drum I haven't seen a listing since last year or longer.
He was doing it with S12 drums too

He's either out of the suomi or tired of losing money on them. Most of his S12 drums end around 30 to 40 bux and the suomi were around 12.00 never paying more then 20.00 + shipping.

What a country seems the best deal now days.
I've paid a little more sometimes for their stuff but I have NEVER had a complaint with them either.

i believe i bought mine from there and since i bought 8 they agreed to hand select for me....2 of them were horrible, 4 decent, 2 good

i kept them all, but complained.....i think its down to the bottom of the barrel on these.....they are to the point where someone should buy them all, refurbish/refinish and then sell them

better to pay $75 for beautiful than $45 for rusty junk

i really like the coffin mags...folke has them for a good deal with a nice leather man purse...its a pretty cool setup and they are minty

Not sure if he has any left, but I ordered some G2s and G3s and they are GTG. A great guy to work with.

+1
Bugzy is a good guy and all the drums I got from him were good quality. He ships fast upon receiving funds too. I don't think you'd be dissapointed buying any from him.

Damn, this sounded like something I could not live without. So I went to the new project page and got on the waiting list. Also noticed the Max-11/15.... on that waiting list too.

I was hoping that it shot 12ga and used Vepr drums! Kidding. Kind of.

Any info on the weight fully loaded? I shoot my amp-10 when I can. I love it, but it is heavy and inaccurate. I've been looking forward to this for a while.

Is there going to be a shortened "k" version? I might just punch myself in the face if I get this one then a short version comes out.

Too early to tell. The bolt would have to be significantly lightened to make a "k" version. The bigger problem is the tooling cost to make 5 or 10 specialty uppers.

I'll weigh the prototype tomorrow and post it. The production unit will be heavier or lighter, but not by much. Hey, it's light enough for my Wife to shoot it!

The MAX-10/31 prototype weighs 4 pounds, 0.2 ounces. So it is about the same weight as the MAX-31 mk2.
